Beautiful Floss Tag from Berit

I received the most beautiful floss tag from Berit today!!!
Berit also sent me a luxury nail & cuticle therapy cream-La Source (among one my favourite scent) from Crabtree and Evelyn.

Here are some pictures to share:

The whole package

She chose to stitch this beautiful chart from my favourite designer-Prairie Schooler

(Book No:115 "Pins & Needles")
She even stitched my name one the sewing machine! Reverse View Look...she really did a wonderful job in this!

Thank you so much Berit, for stitching me an awesome piece of work. I not only like it, but I LOVE IT!!!! I love your handwriting too, Berit :)

PS: Berit was so concerned that the gift might reach me too late, thus she spent almost US$13 for the postage…oh dear Berit…I feel really heartache for that. Even if it is gonna be late, it is a gift totally worth waiting for. Thanks once again (^_^)

I am so glad that you decided to join this TTE round! I had a lot of fun choosing ways to personalize this PS chart for you! (I tried adding details in purple and blue, since I saw you like them.) You are a really talented stitcher and crafter, so I was a eager to make something you would like, and not think, "What is this messy junk?" :)

You are too kind to compliment my handwriting! I confess I am a bit vain about it, but I rarely write anything anymore, and it IS getting a bit sloppy, I fear. My boyfriend's mother practices her penmanship every day by copying out bible verses and sections of "inspirational books" into smaller notebooks. (She says she can read them on the train because it is portable.) Also, it keeps her handwriting good! But, my hand always changed a lot growing up; I believe it is due to the influence of all the calligraphy I studied in my arts training! (I was lucky to go to a good high school--for art at least) But, I am glad you can read it clearly! Many people complain of it.

As for the shipping price, you mustn't worry about that! It is the cheapest way to ship things internationally, from here, as it is a flat rate for the box to *most* countries. :) They said 6-10 days, so it's not particularly express or anything! I DID check the express rates, but they were over $40USD!

So, thanks so much for appreciating my "floss tag" attempt and making such an nice blog about it!

You are so lucky, that is indeed one beautiful exchange. I'm amazed at the patience that she had to attached the back piece. I could never sew anything close without pulling my hair out.

Such sweet design. :-)
