Time flies and it’s already the fourth day of Chinese New Year.
In the past, I love to go for the night shopping with my family before the eve of CNY. I love the feeling of shops opening in the night till dawn and to see so many people doing their last minute shopping during those hours. This night shopping thingy does add some festive mood to everyone. However, most of the shops are closed by 10pm in the recent years and it is really a sad thing to many of us. I think those days are and will become a memory.
I have been busy with the spring cleaning of my house for the past few weekends and I did not stitch or sew much. I think its time for me to get back to some stitching, especially for my exchange piece which will be due in March.
I am looking forward for another get together session with my whole family for a steamboat dinner this weekend at my parent's house..yeah..

Change is hard. Happy Chinese New Year to you Cindy!
Happy CNY!
I did all my cleaning to prepare for January 1st, so I've been lazing about for the last couple of weekends. It's good you can look forward to family gatherings; don't get sad about the past but instead happy (Not easy, is it?) HOpe you have fun making your exchange!
Happy new year to you! Thanks for your comment on my blog. I loved looking through yours. Very nice stitching.
Happy stitches....
Thank you all for the warm greetings :)
