Random thoughts

I was doing leisure surf in the net, and when I type in “sewing area” with Google images search, so many photos and picture appeared on my computer screen.

I enjoy looking at those photos. I always love to admire at others’ sewing area, especially those with super neat storage and well organizer ones…how I wish I have such a nice sewing room! Those photos with “Before” and “After” packing are amazing too.

Some of the sewing rooms have windows near to their sewing machine. Imagine how cool would that be to stitch and sew and to look out to have beautiful scenery when the eyes are tired, or simply for some inspirations thought…omg…I love that!

Though some of the sewing areas are a little small but they look really cozy. I would always imagine myself staying snugly in those cozy corners, be it sewing or stitching, or simply reading my craft books and magazines, and totally ignore what is happening outside...especially when it is down pouring.

My current sewing room does have windows but I seldom open as it is along the common corridor. I don’t like the feeling of people peeping in every time they pass by. My room is more like a “store room” with lots of toys and other junk stacking up like a hill. My sewing area only occupied half of the room, and I wish I could convert the whole room to a sewing room one day…heeee…some evil thoughts: to throw away or give away all those stuff…

I am truly inspired by some of the sewing rooms, do a Google search on it, and you will know what I mean. It’s so fascinating to see those creative work spaces.

I love looking at those pictures too! The Flickr website has a couple of groups dedicated to sewing rooms and craft rooms. My sewing room is certainly not ideal, so it's fun to take a break and watch a slideshow of pretty, organized rooms. :)

Yes, to drool and envy and dream for now and that one the dream will turn to reality.
